PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF USE AGREEMENT (THE “TERMS”) BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE - IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE.
Fedthread.org (the “Site”) is a project of the Center for Information Technology Policy at Princeton University ("CITP").
The Site displays content from the Federal Register and allows users to submit posts and discuss such content. Users must provide personally identifiable information when users submit posts. This information may include, but is not limited to, a user name, e-mail address, and website. A user must provide a user name in order to submit a post. Providing an e-mail address and/or website is optional. The Site displays Federal Register archives, and it is updated frequently to include recent Federal Register updates. It also allows users to set up feeds in either RSS or email format in order to receive tailored updates based on user-specified search terms. E-mail updates are provided via FeedMyInbox.com, which is subject to its own Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (which you can find on FeedMyInbox.com's website).
The Site is not affiliated with the United States government. The official version of the Federal Register is available at http://www.gpoaccess.gov/nara/index.html.
CITP may change the Terms from time to time, at our sole discretion. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of such changes will constitute your assent to all such changes. Please periodically visit this section of the Site to review the current version of the Terms.
THIS WEBSITE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. CITP MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE SITE'S OPERATION OR THE INFORMATION, CONTENT OR MATERIALS INCLUDED ON THIS SITE. TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY APPLICABLE LAW, CITP HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
CITP WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THIS SITE. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOU USE THIS SITE SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL CITP OR ITS SUPPLIERS OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, ECONOMIC OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA OR LOSS OF USE DAMAGES OR LOST PROFITS) ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE SITE (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ITS OPERATION, ITS CONTENTS OR THE INFORMATION OR MATERIALS CONTAINED THEREIN, OR THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE ANY OTHER SITE LINKED TO THE SITE, OR ANY CONTENT CONTAINED IN ANY SUCH SITE, OR THESE TERMS, OR THE PRIVACY POLICY APPLICABLE TO THIS SITE) EVEN IF CITP, ITS SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY DAMAGES.
BECAUSE SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU IN SUCH STATES. THE RESPECTIVE LIABILITY OF CITP, ITS SUPPLIERS AND LICENSORS SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
